Partial lunar eclipse in the Upper Black Forest Hinterzarten (LKRS Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald)Under clear skies, the partial lunar eclipse on Monday evening was also easily visible to the naked eye. Unlike in the west and north, the sky there was cloudless. During a partial lunar eclipse, the Sun,Earth and Moon are roughly aligned. From Germany, only the second part of the eclipse (on the right side) can be seen this time,as the rising of the moon does not occur until after the middle of the eclipse. At 9:19 p.m.,the visible part of the lunar eclipse ended with the Moon leaving the Earth's umbra. At 10:53 p.m.,the eclipse was completely over. (Jn)
