Girded ramparts, the country house of the 13th century tells a tumultuous past illustrated by its strengthened doors and its turns which were used as prison. The visitor will also discover the house of the beater of currency and that of the consuls, the old market and the hotel of the governor. Proud also of its gilded stones and its caves with concretion, Domme offers the green softness of its hanging gardens to the top of the valley of the Dordogne.
