Eggs of an owl butterfly Agrochola litura Stock Image

Description
I photographed these eggs on a rose petal (underside) with 180mm macro and Raynox macro lens. It was only at this magnification that one could even see that they were round and provided with grooves. Does anyone happen to know what this is all about?
