SYRIA, Kafr Batna: A Red Crescent convoy carrying humanitarian aid arrives in Kafr Batna, in the rebel-held Eastern Ghouta area, southern Syria on February 23, 2016. UN aid convoys head to two Syrian towns besieged by government forces, including Kafr Batna, on February 23, 2016 to deliver life-saving food and medicine to some 30,000 people, a UN spokesman said. The humanitarian aid came a day after the United States and Russia agreed on a cessation of hostilities.
