INDONESIA, Jakarta: Thousands of Indonesian labour union members take to the streets on February 6, 2016 for a massive rally to urge the government to stop layoffs at multinational corporations. Over 30,000 people marched in simultaneous rallies across the country to demand a stop to layoffs, and revoke the 2015 government regulation that has led to low wages. In Jakarta, the march started at the Hotel Indonesia then travelled along Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat and was attended by thousands of Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KSPI). The march ended at the Supreme Court building.
