ITALY, Rome: [Warning: graphic content] An estimated 20,000 people march in a procession carrying the body of Padre Pio (in glass at right) through Rome, Italy on February 5, 2016, as Pope Francis' Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy continues. The procession honors Padre Pio and St. Leopold Mandic, as their bodies are carried from the church of San Salvatore in Lauro, to St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican. Padre Pio's body arrived in Rome for the first time this week, where it will remain until next week for a series of Masses, vigils, and events at a number of Roman churches.
