IRAQ, Baghdad: Demonstrators gathered to protest in Baghdad, Iraq on January 3, 2016, following the death of a top Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.Nimr was killed in Saudi Arabia on January 2, along with 46 others. Nimr was a driving force of the protests that broke out in 2011. Following the death of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, protests took place throughout the world condemning the executions.
