IRAN, Tehran: Rain caused a break in the cloud of pollution that was hovering over Tehran for two weeks, on January 1, 2016. Despite the break in the weather, Tehran has been dealing with harmful pollution. Just prior to celebrating the New Year, Tehran banned all outdoor sport and imposed traffic restrictions in an effort to curb the pollution.
