IRAN, Tehran: Tehran can be seen from a point overlooking the city, as a break in the weather forced the clouds of pollution to clear on January 1, 2016. Despite the break in the weather, Tehran has been dealing with harmful pollution. Just prior to celebrating the New Year, Tehran banned all outdoor sport and imposed traffic restrictions in an effort to curb the pollution.
