ROMANIA, Bucharest: Tens of thousands people demonstrated in the streets of Bucharest, Romania on November 5, 2015 to show their discontent with political corruption in the country. On Wednesday, Victor Ponta, Romania's prime minister, resigned after more than 30,000 people demanded he step down over the terrible Colectiv nightclub fire that left 32 people dead and more than 130 still hospitalized. Protesters marched in the center of the city blocking traffic in the area.Through taking to the streets, the civil society is trying to battle the endemic corruption in the country.
