TURKEY, Istanbul: Turkish journalists protested against pressure put on the press by the government, and attacks towards journalists, in Istanbul on September 3, 2015. News directors, editors and reporters participated in the protests, calling for a free and independent press. Banners included the sign in black and white stating: Free press cannot be silenced.
