Description

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC, Bangui: Protesters from civil society look at a truck of UN's MINUSCA, on the Martyrs' square, in Bagui, on September 30, 2015, as a pacific demonstration is postponed by organizers due to a risk-factor. The Central African Republic descended into bloodshed more than two years ago after long time president Francois Bozize, a Christian, was ousted by Seleka rebels, triggering the worst crisis since independence in 1960. On September 29, 2015, Bangui returned to only relative calm after three days of inter-community violence which left at least 40 dead and 100 injured according to the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR. Some 27,000 inhabitants of Bangui have also fled to displaced people's camps.
