COLOMBIA, La Parada: Deported from Venezuela over a month ago, a Colombian man, on September 26, 2015, stands in front of the temporary shelter he's lived in while waiting to return to Venezuela; set up near the Venezuelan border in the La Parada area, near Cucuta, Colombia. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced on September 28, 2015 that he will let the deported Colombians return to Venezuela and legalize their status. In August, President Maduro closed the borders with Colombia, in what he called a crackdown on smuggling and crime.
